Once saturated with moisture, the beads will complete the color change to LIGHT green. It’s important to note that the initial color change does not indicate full saturation. The beads will continue to absorb moisture until reaching 50%RH. We recommend periodically checking the silica gel beads to ensure their effectiveness.
ใTransparent Window & Easy Reactivationใ: With the transparent window, you can easily monitor the color of the silica gel. If it turns from orange to light green, it indicates that the environmental relative humidity is above 50%. To reactivate the reusable silica gel canister desiccant dehumidifier, simply place it in the oven for 0.5 to 3 hours at 200ยฐF to 250ยฐF (avoid exceeding 250ยฐF). The actual reactivation time may be shorter depending on the condition of the silica gel beads.
